Is it touching a building or a power line?

If it's touching a power line, call the utility first. We can start once they clear the line.

We'll call you back with a price and a date.

Services

What we do

You get a written price before we start, and it includes cleanup.

Tree removal

Close to the house, we take it down in sections and lower each piece on a rope. Over a roof with no room to lower, we bring in a crane.

  • Wood hauled away or cut to firewood length
  • Lawn raked and driveway blown off
Priced by size and how close it is to the house

Pruning

We take out deadwood, shorten heavy limbs and raise branches that hang over the roof or driveway. Cuts follow the ANSI A300 standard, and we don't top trees.

  • Brush chipped and hauled
  • Best done in late winter for most species
Priced by the tree and how much comes out

Stump grinding

Ground 6 to 8 inches below grade so you can plant grass over it. Tell us about sprinkler lines and buried dog fence before we grind.

  • Chips left in the hole or hauled away
  • Utility locate called in before we dig
Priced by the width of the stump at the ground

Plant health care

Soil treatment, deep root feeding and insect treatment for trees that are stressed or under attack. An arborist looks at the tree in person before recommending anything.

Priced per visit

Storm response

We remove trees that have come down on a house, car or fence, tarp any roof damage, and write up the job for your insurance company.

What customers say

They took a big oak off the back of the house in pieces and nothing touched the roof. By the end you could only tell where they worked by the stump.
Jen R.oak removal
I sent two photos on a Sunday night and had a price on Tuesday. The crew raked the whole side yard before they left.
Mark T.pruning and stump grinding
After the storm they tarped the roof where the limb came through and sent our adjuster the photos and a written scope.

After a storm

What to do before we get there, and how we handle the insurance side.

What to photograph before we cut

  1. The whole tree where it landed, from far enough back to show the house.
  2. The damage up close: roof, gutters, siding, fence or car.
  3. The base of the tree, and the root plate if it pulled out of the ground.
  4. Anything inside, like a ceiling stain or broken window. Keep the original files.

How we document for your insurer

We photograph the tree before the first cut and at each stage of the removal.

You get a written scope that lists the part of the tree on the structure separately from the rest of the cleanup, because many policies pay for those two differently.

We can send the photos and the scope straight to your adjuster. Check your policy for a per tree limit on removal.
